As part of the Airlift Capability the HIND-E has a specific duty of ground support and troop transport. This for the purpose of On-Call evacuation and ready fire support to allow SSOF the capacity to have a QRF for any situation across the globe. Generally there will be one HIND-E per military and at least one on standby for support wherever SSOF might be operating.

The AN-124 Allows SSOF with a means of transporting Logistics across the globe and act as the main form of operational transport for on call and in demand services. It is recognized as a long haul aircraft with its primary purpose designed to operate with enough towing capacity for a full troop deployment.

The AN-124 S gives SSOF the capability for AWACS (Airborne Warning and Control System). This allows for effective use of the air space and coordination between SSOF forces across the globe. SSOF operates a singular AWACS for Command and Control purposes.
